I love colour and combine this with inspiration derived from a lifetime of enjoyment of the sights of beautiful wildlife and natural world around us. My work encompasses a broad range of textile arts. However I have specialised in fine felt for the last 12 years. I have taken numerous in person and on line courses with local and international felt makers to improve and refine my skill. Thankyou for visiting my website. About Me
My love of textiles began at an early age, inspired by my mum. I have dabbled in weaving, dyeing and machine embroidery before concentrating primarily on wet feltmaking. I have been making felt since around 2013 and have taken a wide variety of in person and on line workshops and courses, both with international and local feltmakers, to bring the quality of my felt to a high standard. I love the magic of creating useable and desirable items from a fluffy pile of sheep fleece! Sometimes I dye or ecoprint the end result. I also enjoy adding machine embroidery to my felt. I make primarily wearable items such as scarves and bags but also like to experiment with mixed media art work and vessels. Much of my inspiration comes from the natural world around us.
I am a member of the International Feltmakers Association.
I am particularly grateful for teaching by Fiona Duthie and Lena Archbold in perfecting my skills and techniques.

Farfield Mill Textile Exhibition and Competition
In Spring 2026 I entered an International textile competition/exhibition at Farfield Mill, Sedbergh. The theme of the exhibition was "Metamorphosis". For my submission I created a wet felted wall hanging using hand and commercially dyed silk, nuno felted with superfine merino. The title of my work was "Fall Leaves Fall". The inspiration being looking up through the leaves of a beech tree. I also embroidered some small areas of stitch to represent branches. I was delighted to have my work accepted for the exhibition and even more delighted when the work was awarded FIRST PRIZE! what a surprise and honour that the judges picked my piece out of all the submissions. A real validation of my efforts to create high quality felt.
Worcester Open Studios and Herefordshire Art week
A huge thankyou to everyone who visited us at The Weavers Gallery, Ledbury for h.Art this year. We had a fantastic number of visitors during our 9 day exhibition. Lovely to see many returning customers and also to welcome many new ones. I truly hope you will enjoy your purchases.
I am delighted to have had two of my larger felt art works - "Gad, son of Jacob and "Hereford Bull' accepted for display in the "Faces and Spaces" Exhibition at the lovely Dot Gallery, Cockermouth, Cumbria which runs 3rd October to 4th November. Do pop in and have a look at them if you are in the Lakes this Autumn.
NATURE IN ART
This Autumn I am participating in the annual long standing craft fair at Nature in Art ,Twigworth, near Tewkesbury Gloucester. The annual event takes place over two days Saturday 31st October and Sunday 1st November 10-4 .There will be lots of lovely stalls as well as the beautiful gardens and museum (and cafe!) so do come and say hello!
Great Malvern Art Markets
This Autumn I will also be selling my felt at two autumn art markets in the Priory Grounds Great Malvern. The dates for these will be Saturday 7th November and Saturday 28th November.
